Located in northern Sumner County, Larkspur contains one of the finest examples of mature hardwood forest in our region, and together with the adjacent Nature Conservancy property at Taylor Hollow they support large numbers breeding tanagers, thrushes, and warblers, including Cerulean. Field Trip – September 20th – 7 am
Saturday, September 20th – Ravenwood/Lytle Park, Nashville We’ll explore Nashville’s newest park around the peak of fall migration. Last October’s field trip to Lytle proved very popular so we’ll visit again about a month earlier to search for a different assortment of migrants in this very under-birded spot. This will also allow us to check
2025 Christmas Bird Count
The NTOS 2025 Christmas Bird Counts dates will be Saturday, December 13th and Thursday, Januaary 1st. Information will be forthcoming as time draws nearer....but mark those calendars and join us for this annual event.
